M.G. TD 1,800 c.c.
This installation of an 1,800cc MGB engine required oil cooling so this louvred aluminium cowling was made by Dave to cover the oil cooler and the front dumb irons. The admirer is given a clue to the increased engine hidden under the bonnet.
The bolts though the cowl will locate the front bumper brackets.
Extra go requires extra stopping power. New hubs made and fitted to hold perforated disc brakes.
Close-up of front disc and anti roll bar to compensate for the extra engine weight.
Telescopic shock absorbers fitted showing new location points and zinc plated chassis bracket.
Another view of the rear shocker top location point.
Re-upholstered interior and new steering wheel.
Seats upholstered in cream leather with matching dashboard and carpets. Note the cranked gear lever.
